2nd week of 4th six weeks


TEKS 7.8C - model the effects of human activity on groundwater and surface water in a watershed.









  • Begin week long observation of water evaporation rates as related to temperature.



  • Students will participate in a lab activity in which they will create a model that shows how much of Earth’s water if fresh.  This will serve as an introduction to TEKS 7.8C

  • “How do Water Droplets Form” lab activity.


  • plan and carry out an experiment, in groups, to show where the salt form Wednesday’s lab ended up. 


  • Analyze data and complete lab report debriefing from week long evaporation experiment. 

  • Short quiz on watersheds on Friday.
