This week you will be taking your 3rd six weeks exam. Also due by Friday 12/18/15 is your science fair project trifold poster. Be sure to turn it in on or before this Friday.

Remember that the uneven heating of the Earth causes differences in temperature which cause differences in pressure. Warm air has a lower pressure and cool air has higher pressure. Air moves from an area of high pressure to an area of low pressure causing wind.
water has a higher specific heat than land and therefore heats up and cools down slower. Land has a lower specific heat and therefore heats up and cools down faster.
