8th Grade Honors Science
4th week of 1st six weeks

This week we continue our study of space with the electromagnetic spectrum.  We will learn how scientists use the spectrum to gain understanding of our universe and develop theories such as The Big Bang to explain the origins of the universe.

TEKS 8.8 C explore the different wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum such as light and radio waves are used to gain information about distances and properties of components of the universe;

Progress reports will be given out this week.
